What goes into it

  • The $30 a monthIt's the usual figure for round-up programs, and it's what our own first givers are running at. You can change it.
  • The sign-up rateIt comes down to your church and how you introduce it. A church that keeps round-ups in front of its people sees far more than one that mentions it once.
  • The first yearThis assumes sign-ups climb steadily for six months and then hold. Your church may move faster or slower.
  • What it skipsPeople who stop, people who join later, and any effect on other giving. Leaving them out keeps the math easy to follow.
  • Tithes and offeringsNot in here at all. Round-ups come from spare change on card purchases.
